1. Product Overview
This is an original combined pump assembly (dual piston pump) for SANY SY980H. It is composed of Hengli Hydraulic V30GL280L main pump and HP5V45-T2M1 pilot/auxiliary pump connected in series, equipped with LRDRE1 electronic control regulator. It acts as the power core of the fully electronically controlled hydraulic system of SY980H.
Main Pump V30GL280L: Delivers high-pressure and large-flow main hydraulic power for the whole machine to drive boom, arm, bucket, travel and swing devices.
Auxiliary Pump HP5V45-T2M1: Supplies pilot control oil as well as flow for servo control and auxiliary movements.
LRDRE1 Control Unit: Integrates mechanical power limitation, electro-proportional displacement and pressure cut-off functions, fully adapting to heavy-load mining conditions.

Main Pump V30GL280L
- Pump Body: Made of high-strength ductile iron with integrated rear cover. It features high rigidity, effective vibration and noise reduction and low internal leakage.
- Piston & Cylinder Block: Adopts high-alloy wear-resistant steel with deep nitriding treatment. It is high-pressure resistant and impact resistant, suitable for heavy-duty mining operations.
- Valve Plate: Bronze alloy processed by high-precision grinding, with volumetric efficiency over 97%, low wear and long service life.
- Swashplate & Return Mechanism: Forged alloy steel with excellent fatigue resistance and fast response, supporting stepless variable displacement.
- Seals: Imported FKM fluoroelastomer, working temperature: -40℃ ~ 120℃, anti-aging and leak-proof.
- Bearings: Reinforced heavy-duty roller bearings, capable of bearing high radial and axial loads.
Auxiliary Pump HP5V45-T2M1
- Structure: Compact swashplate piston pump with small size, light weight and high power density.

4. Control Principle & Functions
Electro-proportional Displacement Control (Main Pump): Receives 4–20 mA signals from ECU to adjust swashplate angle steplessly. It matches flow rate with load accurately to save energy and improve efficiency.
Mechanical Power Limiting (Main Pump): The built-in power spring automatically matches the output power of DC16 engine to avoid engine stall caused by overload and ensure stable operation under heavy load.
High-pressure Cut-off (Main Pump): When system pressure exceeds 35 MPa, the pump automatically reduces displacement to protect pumps, valves and pipelines from overpressure damage.
Pilot Pressure Stabilization (Auxiliary Pump): HP5V45 steadily outputs 4 MPa pilot oil to control main pump displacement, multi-way valve switching, braking system and servo system.
Full Electronic Integrated Control (ICT): It works in deep coordination with the electronic control system of SY980H, realizing unpowered boom lowering and smooth compound movements. The overall energy efficiency is increased by more than 30%.
