Detailed Product Introduction of Remanufactured CAT 320D Excavator

1. Basic Product Overview

This is a remanufactured CAT 320D medium-sized crawler excavator complying with national standards. Unlike ordinary second-hand refurbished machines that only undergo simple sanding and repainting, the whole machine is fully disassembled and thoroughly overhauled in strict accordance with the construction machinery remanufacturing system. The engine, main hydraulic pump, distribution valve, travel and swing assemblies, as well as frame structural components are all inspected and refurbished, restoring the performance of core components to original factory specifications for stable and durable overall operation.
The equipment is widely applied in earth excavation, foundation pit construction, earth backfilling, road renovation, river dredging, demolition crushing, landscaping, mine stripping and other engineering operations. Our factory undertakes customized full-machine remanufacturing services for a full range of construction machinery including excavators, concrete pump trucks, mixer trucks, loaders, road rollers, etc. In-stock units are available for on-site inspection and trial operation at any time, and customized remanufactured units can be produced upon demand. 3. Remanufacturing Details of Core Assemblies

(1) CAT C6.4 Engine Assembly

The engine is completely disassembled. Cylinder block, crankshaft, connecting rods and camshaft are subject to flaw detection inspection, and components exceeding wear tolerance are replaced directly.

A full set of vulnerable sealing parts including cylinder liner-piston kit, valve assembly, fuel injectors, plungers, oil seals and gaskets are replaced, and fuel injection timing is calibrated.

The turbocharger is inspected and refurbished; the cooling system, intake and exhaust systems are cleaned and overhauled to eliminate common faults such as blow-by gas, black smoke, insufficient power, oil leakage and water leakage.

After assembly, cold running-in and hot running-in tests are carried out. The engine is installed only after passing tests, featuring reasonable fuel consumption, sufficient power and greatly reduced failure rate.

(2) Main Hydraulic System (Main Pump + Multi-way Valve + Swing Motor + Travel Motors)

The hydraulic plunger main pump is fully disassembled. The valve plate, plungers, cylinder block and swash plate are inspected for wear, repaired or replaced to restore internal clearances to factory tolerances.

The main control multi-way valve is disassembled and cleaned; spools and valve bores are lapped and repaired, and all spool oil seals and sealing kits are replaced to resolve internal leakage, slow movement and insufficient power.

Swing motor and travel motor assemblies are disassembled and overhauled; reducer gears, friction plates and valve distribution mechanisms are inspected and replaced to prevent deviation during travel, weak travel power, swing shaking and abnormal noise.

All hydraulic hoses, oil seals, O-rings and filter elements on the whole machine are brand-new replaced. The complete machine undergoes pressure holding testing to eliminate oil seepage, oil leakage and excessive overheating.

(3) Boom, Stick and Bucket Structural Components

The boom, stick and bucket are subject to overall ultrasonic inspection to detect hidden internal cracks and fatigue cracks.

Cracked areas are groove-welded for reinforcement with stress relief treatment, and deformed sections are straightened and reshaped.

Clearances of pin shafts and copper bushings are measured; pin shafts and bushings are replaced when clearances exceed limits, ensuring smooth movement without backlash after greasing.

Wear plates on the bucket are built-up welded and reinforced to improve impact resistance and wear resistance, adapting to heavy-duty excavation and crushing operations.

(4) Travel Undercarriage System

Idlers, track rollers and carrier rollers are disassembled and inspected; severely worn assemblies are replaced directly.

Track shoes and track bolts are inspected and replaced as needed; track tension is adjusted, and tension cylinders as well as tension oil seals are refurbished.

The chassis frame is straightened to eliminate frame deformation caused by long-term eccentric loading, enabling stable and straight travel without deviation.

(5) Cab and Electronic Control System

Cab sheet metal repair and interior tidying are completed; glass, door locks, handrails and seat are inspected and replaced where necessary.

Comprehensive inspection is performed on the instrument panel, display screen, sensors and wiring harnesses; aged wiring harnesses are replaced and rearranged with neat routing layout.

Throttle motor, solenoid valves and pressure switches are individually commissioned to eliminate fault alarms, jerky movement and electronic control failure.

The air conditioning system is overhauled and recharged with refrigerant to restore normal heating and cooling functions and improve driving comfort.

4. Standard Full-Machine Remanufacturing Process

  1. Complete disassembly: The whole machine is disassembled down to individual parts, cleaned of mud, sludge and carbon deposits, sorted, washed and screened; scrapped components are directly eliminated and replaced.
  2. Flaw detection and repair for structural parts: Frame, boom, stick and bucket are inspected, crack-welded and straightened to remove hidden dangers of fatigue cracking.
  3. In-depth overhaul of three major assemblies: Engine, hydraulic system, travel and swing system are disassembled for maintenance with worn internal components replaced.
  4. Full replacement of sealing components: All oil seals, sealing rings, hoses and filter elements are replaced in one batch to stop fluid leakage.
  5. Sorting and renovation of electrical system: Wiring harnesses are rearranged and renewed; sensors and controllers are debugged to eliminate electronic control faults.
  6. Whole-machine assembly and commissioning: Assembled in accordance with original factory torque specifications, including no-load movement debugging, compound movement coordination testing and pressure calibration.
  7. Sandblasting and painting: The whole machine is sandblasted for rust removal, coated with epoxy primer and original-matching topcoat with intact and neat logos.
  8. Comprehensive factory inspection: Load test run is conducted for the whole machine; data of pressure, rotating speed and fuel consumption are recorded, a remanufacturing inspection file is established, and the machine is warehoused only after passing inspection.
